Count Shopify purchases

Shopify locks down its checkout pages, so the main pixel cannot see a sale there. This optional script counts each completed order as a conversion. Install the main pixel first.

   Copy the script

   On the Website page, open Shopify purchases and copy the script.

   Add a custom pixel

   In Shopify open Settings, Customer events, then Add custom pixel.

   Paste and save

   Name it Surfil purchases, paste the script and save.

   Connect and test

   Press Connect, then place one test order. The sale shows up in your numbers within a day.

The script sends only that an order was completed. It reads no customer details, no cart and no page content.
