Privacy and your data
What the pixel collects, what it does not, and where to find our data terms.
Surfil reads your own site and the accounts you connect, and nothing else. The pixel is built so you do not need to ask your visitors for anything.
| The pixel | |
|---|---|
| Cookies and browser storage | None |
| Names, emails and IP addresses | Not collected |
| Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control | Respected: nothing is sent |
| What it records | Page views, sources and AI referrals, real-user speed, conversions (form submits and tagged clicks), JS errors and 404s |
| Raw events | Deleted after 7 days |
Read-only connections
Google and Stripe are connected read-only. A Stripe key is stored encrypted and never shown again.
Cards stay with Stripe
Your card is handled by Stripe at checkout. We never see or store the number.
Mention the pixel in your own privacy policy. The data processing terms set out why.
Do I need a cookie banner for the pixel?
The pixel sets no cookies and uses no browser storage, so it adds nothing to your banner. Your other tools may still need one.
Can I export or delete my data?
Yes. Export it from Settings under Privacy and data, and press Request deletion there to close the account.
