Add the pixel to any other site

Paste the tag into the head of every page, on any platform or framework.

The pixel is one line that reports real visits, sales and speed from your Other or Next.js site, so your Growth Score uses facts. Copy the tag from the Pixel card on the Website page, then follow these steps.

  1. Paste the tag

Paste the tag inside the <head> of every page. In Next.js, that is the root layout.

  2. Deploy and visit your site

Deploy, then visit your site once. The tag only reports once the change is live on your site.

The Pixel card saysWhat it means
Waiting for the first visitThe tag has not reported yet. Visit your site once and wait a minute.
LiveVisits are arriving from your site.
QuietNo visit has reached us for two days. Check that the tag is still on your homepage.

In Next.js the head belongs to the root layout. On a hand-built site, put the tag in the shared header template so no page misses it.

The card still says Waiting for the first visit

Publish or save the change, then open your homepage in a browser that does not send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, because the pixel stays silent for both. Wait a minute and reload the Website page.

Is this my site to edit?

If not, the Pixel card has Email my developer and Copy message for my developer. The message holds the tag and the steps.

Every platform is listed in Install the pixel.
