Connect Stripe
Give Surfil a read-only key so your revenue fills in without typing.
A read-only Stripe key lets Surfil read your revenue so sales are counted for you. It cannot charge anyone, refund anything or change your Stripe account.
Create a restricted key
In Stripe open Developers, API keys, then Create restricted key.
Set the permissions
Balance, Customers, Subscriptions, Invoices, Prices, Disputes and Events to Read. Leave everything else at None.
Copy the key
Stripe shows it only once, so copy it before you leave the page.
Paste it on the Stripe page
Open Stripe, paste the key and press Connect Stripe.
The key is stored encrypted and is never shown again. Reconnect replaces it and Disconnect removes it. Only the workspace owner can connect or disconnect Stripe.
Do I have to connect Stripe?
No. You can type your numbers in the monthly numbers instead. Stripe only saves you the typing and unlocks more of your Growth Score.
Stripe did not accept my key
Check that you copied all of it. It starts with rk_live_ or rk_test_. A key that starts with sk_ is a full secret key and is refused: make a restricted key with read access only.
The key cannot read my balance
Open the key in Stripe and set Balance to Read, then paste it again.
The key cannot read Prices
Open the key in Stripe and set Prices to Read, then paste it again. Without it your payments still count, but products and prices show as ids.
